Air Lazur General Aviation is an air company owned by Petrol Holding Joint-Stock Company. It was established in 2002 but it actually exists since 1996 being the successor of the following air companies: Yukos, Naftex and Petrol Holding Joint-Stock Company. Over the years it has managed to establish high standard of VIP services in the area of business aviation and has developed a network of loyal customers. History 2006 was a turning point for Air Lazur Company. At that time the company went through a transition period from providing mostly flight services for corporate clients to performing a purely commercial activity - operating charter flights for key customers and companies which do not belong to the Petrol Holding Group. Key moments in the history of the airline company: November 2005 Air Lazur Airline Company was granted an Aviation Operator Certificate No BG26 by the Ministry of Transport verifying that the Holding meets the requirements for an aviation operator as specified by JAR-OPS, the Civil Aviation Law of the Republic of Bulgaria and Regulation 24/15th February 2000 of the Ministry of Transport, and also that it is capable of operating business flights. December 2005 - Air Lazur Company obtains an Airline Company License No BG 2407 16 verifying that the Holding meets the requirements for an aviation operator as specified by the Civil Aviation Law of the Republic of Bulgaria and Regulation No 2407/2004, issued by the Minister of Transport, and also that it is capable of operating business flights. December 2005 - almost immediately after obtaining an aviation operator license, Air Lazur Company becomes member of Avinode - an international organization for charter flights trade. March 2006 as the number of charter flights operated by Air Lazur is growing, the company becomes a member of EBAA European Business Aviation Association. November 2006 due to the growing number business flight orders, an aircraft Challenger 604 was purchased and it was registered in the Register of Bulgarian Aircrafts as LZ-YUN. December 2006 after registering the aircraft and obtaining all necessary certificates from the Ministry of Transport, the first business flight with the new aircraft was performed.
